Join Mrs. Nancy Thurmond and family, former staffers, and interns for a “Strom-style” reunion with BBQ, Sweet Tea, and Lemonade.

Strom Thurmond staffers, interns, and supporters are invited to participate on the event’s Host Committee.  Host sponsorship gifts at the $500 and above levels will receive tickets to the Strom Thurmond Event.  Donations at the $500 and above level are tax-deductible minus the dollar value of event tickets received.

Sponsorship gifts assist in underwriting the Strom Thurmond Reunion Event and the Museum’s current special exhibition Strom Thurmond and the 1948 Presidential Election open through August 16, 2016. For more information, contact Tom McGrath at 864-467-3100.

Take a break from the heat at the Upcountry History Museum! Enjoy classic films and documentaries throughout the summer in our very own theater. Films begin at 2:00 pm. All Monday Matinee Movies are FREE to members and FREE with regular admission to all other guests. Drinks and snacks will be for sale at each movie. See you at the pictures!

In honor of the soon to open Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition – Things Come Apart – investigate the America’s most famous inventor, and his role in pushing America into the future
