History Happy Hour FAQS

How does one attend? Use your favorite mode of transportation to come to the Museum: teleport, levitate, carpool, peddle, but drive responsibly. We are located at 540 Buncombe Street, Greenville, SC 29601. Access our parking lot from Atwood Street and park for free. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Just check in at our front desk to pay your admission fee and show your I.D. that says you’re 21+ years of age.

What kind of beverages can we bring? Except for liquor, whatever your heart desires. Hot chai latte? Bring it on. Pepsi Blue? Can’t. It’s discontinued. A tasty New England IPA? Absolutely. Rain water? I wouldn’t recommend it, but okay. A robust cabernet sauvignon? Cheers!

What can we bring to drink out of? Lots of things. A cup, a bowl, a can, a growler, a boot. If you plan on throwing away your drinking container at the Museum, please don’t bring glass containers.

What should I NOT do at History Happy Hour? You should NOT be noticeably intoxicated in the Museum. We are responsible for the objects in the Museum. If we are concerned about the safety of the objects or the experience of other patrons, you will be asked to leave WITHOUT a refund.

What should I do at History Happy Hour? Exist. Look at things. Be kind. Share something with someone. Maybe meet a new person or a new object. Just enjoy being at a place in your community with other people.

How about food? We will have pretzels and refreshing water available, but we encourage you to BYOBS (Bring your own Bite Squad) too.
