Upcountry History Museum / WWII Donations
For two years, UHM has been engaged in an oral history and research project regarding World War II in the upcountry. We have collected hundreds of photographs from the war era, conducted over 50 oral histories, and produced a documentary that won a national award from the American Association of State and Local History. We now want to share these amazing stories of upcountry residents' wartime experiences with museum visitors. Our historian and her research team are writing a book and making plans for an exhibit that will be on display for an entire year in the changing gallery at UHM. To make that happen, we need your support!
