Homeschool Day – The Meaning of Money
November 21 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

The Meaning of Money
Introduce your child to the evolution of money through interactive historical scenarios, role-playing, and critical thinking activities. They will explore how early settlers traded and bartered with the Upcountry’s indigenous population, understand the importance of performing hourly work that helps to cover their needs while learning about savings and spending, and lastly, examine how Americans coped with rationing during wartime. This Homeschool Day is open to elementary grades, and ultimately, we hope children will gain a deeper understanding of value, labor, and resources.
