Internships

The Upcountry History Museum (UHM) has a year round intern program that provides exposure to all aspects of museum operations. Interns interested in history have the option of working with the Curator of Collections, the Managers of Programming and Education or marketing and social media. Internships are available for all majors, including but not limited to history, communications, education, sociology, art, anthropology and English.

Internship Applicant Criteria

Interested students must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate school student in a degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university.

Internship Application Packet

Interested students must submit a complete Internship Application Packet which includes the following information:

  • Cover Letter (explaining why you want to intern at UHM and what you hope to gain from the experience)
  • Résumé
  • List of 3 references, including your faculty advisor (their contact information)
