Our Ripple Effect: The Revitalization of the Reedy River

Explore the history of the Reedy River, traveling back to the time of the Cherokee and industrialization, up to today’s use of the revitalized river. This lesson meets SC standards for Kindergarten through 6th grade , and is designed for children ages 5-12 years old.

WHEN: Every last Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.

WHERE: Upcountry History Museum

HOW: Open to children ages 5-12 years old

WHY: Get hands-on with local history while incorporating SC Social Studies standards

COST: $9 per student & $10 per adult
