Greenville’s Black History & Civil Rights Movement

While touring the Museum, children will investigate key events throughout black history, thus allowing a greater understanding of Greenville’s Civil Rights Movement. Children will listen to oral histories of student activists who led protests here in Greenville County, while also discussing the hardships they overcame in their stand against inequality.

WHEN: Every 3rd Friday at 1:30 p.m.

WHERE: Upcountry History Museum

HOW: February 19 is open to kids ages 6-14 years old.

WHY: Get hands-on with history while incorporating state standards

COST: $9 per student & $10 per adult

UHM MEMBERS COST: $5 per student & Adults are FREE
