Animating Seuss: Creating “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas”

Presented by Zach Inks, South Carolina Governor’s School

“Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas” premiered on television in 1966. Directed by Chuck Jones, this adaptation of the 1957 children’s book became an instant holiday staple, in which the surly Grinch learns the true meaning of Christmas. Join Zach Inks, Animation Instructor at the South Carolina Govenor’s School for Lunchbox Learning, where he will discuss the history of the making of this Christmas classic. Original artwork from “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is on display in A Very Grinchy Christmas until January 21, 2024.
