Topic: “The Cherokee Path, Parts I and II”

Dennis Chastain has spent more than 20 years researching and writing feature articles for South Carolina Wildlife. Chastain, a noted outdoorsman, local historian and writer, has studied the Cherokee Path extensively, discovering a dozen sections of it across the state that have remained undisturbed since it went out of use nearly 200 years ago.

Join us for the continuation of his talk begun on January 15, 2020, as he briefly recaps and continues to share the stories of how the ancient Cherokee Path played a vital role in the cultural and natural history of South Carolina.
