Our Stars and Stripes: The Revolutionary War in SC

Travel back in time as we explore the role played by SC in the American Revolutionary War. Children will learn about the founding of the United States and life during colonial times and even examine special techniques used to share “war correspondences.” While comparing Patriots and Loyalists, they will also learn about key figures from South Carolina and each person’s direct impact on the war.

WHERE: Upcountry History Museum

HOW: March 17 is open to children in 2nd-5th grade.

WHY: Get hands-on with history while incorporating state standards

COST: $10 per student & $12 per adult
